John Hitchcock, PhD, a Westat Principal Research Associate, will provide the annual keynote address for the 44th Annual Meeting of the Mid-Western Education Research Association (MWERA) in Cincinnati, Ohio, October 19-21, 2022. He will deliver the address on Friday October 21.
Dr. Hitchcock will focus broadly on challenges in conducting education research during the pandemic and review the importance of persevering through these challenges. He will demonstrate these ideas by describing steps taken during the National Summer Learning and Enrichment Study (NSLES) to ensure its goals could be realized.
