The 31st Annual Morris Hansen Lecture Series, established in 1990 with a financial grant from Westat and hosted by the Washington Statistical Society (WSS), will take place on November 14, 2023. This year’s lecture will be given by Jiming Jiang, PhD, from the University of California, Davis, on “Model Selection and Its Important Roles in Surveys.” The lecture will be followed by a discussion with Andreea Erciulescu, PhD, from Westat, and Jane Meza, PhD, from the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
