Message from Westat CEO Scott Royal

We entered this work week with heavy hearts after the recent senseless killings of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor that follow on a long history of racial injustice and discrimination in our country. We are struggling to process the anger and grief that have resulted from these tragedies.

As a research company, those of us at Westat have an understanding of issues impacting equality in our society that is based on data. As a community, we share a desire to work for inclusion and equity for all people.

That starts with Westat itself, where we must strengthen our commitment to embracing and empowering the diversity in our organization and within our communities. Together we will foster a culture where we accept differences, where everyone has a voice and everyone is heard.
