Suzanne Osborn, MBA, Westat’s Vice President of Human Resources, was presented the 2023 Service Excellence Award by Derek Ellis, MBA, Westat COO, at the Greater Rockville Chamber of Commerce’s annual Rock Star Award in Rockville, Maryland. Westat is one of the largest employers in Rockville, providing professional services to federal, state, and local governments, as well as commercial clients and nonprofits.
As the Human Resources lead, Osborn oversees the management of one of Westat’s key assets—its employees. Through her direction, she has enhanced outreach for new hires; coordinated initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention; and much more. Osborn’s expertise was highlighted in a recent Bethesda Magazine Women in Business profile column.
Osborn is also on the Rockville Economic Development, Inc. (REDI) Board of Directors, which is made up of volunteer business representatives and residents who live and/or work in the City of Rockville. As a member of this board, she provides guidance to ensure that business ventures in Rockville are successful.
