Westat Announces Leadership Roles to Enhance Innovation and Client-Focused Strategy

Westat announced new, expanded roles of Patricia Shifflett, MS, to Chief Business Officer and Scott Cody, MPP, to Chief Solutions Officer, effective April 1. These leadership appointments reflect the company’s continued focus on aligning its capabilities, enhancing client service, and delivering integrated, cost-effective solutions.
In her new role as Chief Business Officer, Shifflett, a member of the Westat Board of Directors and a Senior Vice President, will oversee technical delivery for health, education, and social policy. She will lead efforts to strengthen collaboration across these areas, leveraging Westat’s broad areas of expertise to meet evolving client needs.
As Chief Solutions Officer, Cody, a Senior Vice President, will oversee three of the company’s capability centers. He will focus on advancing cohesive solutions and optimizing how Westat applies its technical and analytical capabilities.
Together, Shifflett and Cody will drive greater alignment across practices and centers, fostering collaboration and harmonizing business processes to support innovation and deliver high-quality, client-centered outcomes.
