Bethany Tennant, PhD, is a Principal Research Associate for Public Health with more than 10 years of experience supporting public health research and communications programs and initiatives. She has led numerous qualitative studies across multiple federal agencies, including serving as project director for the FDA’s Rapid Message Testing with Consumer, Caregiver, and Healthcare Professional Panels. Tennant has expertise in managing complex and rapid projects, conducting literature reviews, designing protocols and other communication materials for research studies, conducting focus groups and in-depth interviews with consumers, health care professionals, and communities, analyzing qualitative data, preparing client reports, and writing manuscripts for journal publication. Tennant also has experience developing and testing health communication messages and conducting quantitative and qualitative formative research to guide communication strategies.
