DeLayna Goulding is an epidemiologist and Senior Research Associate for Public Health with more than 10 years of experience in population surveillance and data analytics. Her research expertise spans behavioral health, injury, and substance use fields. She specializes in transforming complex, multisource data into strategic recommendations.
Goulding leads epidemiological analyses, with a focus on statistical modeling, complex survey design, and data mining. She has designed frameworks for prevalence estimation, real‑time monitoring, and trend detection. Her work has included developing methods to measure toxic exposures among veterans using the Individual Longitudinal Exposure Record (ILER) data and linking these measures to health outcomes captured in federal veterans data.
