Kristin Flanagan, PhD, is a Vice President for Survey Management and Design. She brings expertise in study design; quantitative methods; qualitative methods; survey development; assessment development; and data collection design, protocols, and implementation. Areas of focus include studies of early childhood development, youth development, and education. Flanagan works primarily on large-scale studies of children’s educational experiences, knowledge, and skills, including longitudinal studies of early childhood and youth development, international comparative studies of education, and studies of school policies, programs, and resources. In addition, Flanagan leads a design contract conducting activities to support a nationally representative, descriptive study of Head Start.
