Overview

Laura Taylor is a Principal Research Associate for Education Studies with more than 18 years of experience, including classroom instruction, building leadership, directing technical assistance projects, program evaluation, leading resource development and digital media efforts, and providing capacity-building services to states, districts, and schools. Taylor serves as the Co-Deputy Director for the Region 5 Comprehensive Center, which provides supports to enhance state and local education agency (SEA and LEA) capacity to improve educational outcomes for all students, close achievement gaps, and improve the quality of instruction. She provides capacity-building services to the region on topics ranging from policy changes, early learning, workforce development, and other needs determined by the states. She has coauthored publications and technical reports as well as numerous presentations during her career.  Taylor is a Kotter Certified Change Leader.
