Walter Faig, PhD, is a Principal Statistical Associate for Clinical Research with a decade of experience in medical research. He is the primary statistician for Westat’s Biostatistics and Data Management group at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). His work has ranged across several areas of expertise, including perceptions of preventative care among health care workers, treatment differences between autistic and non-autistic patients, clinical trial work for rare disease populations, and more. He has provided coding and manuscript support for the VISION project, is skilled in common statistical software, including SAS and R, and has experience navigating electronic health record (EHR) data as well as research databases such as REDCap.
