Patricia Shifflett is a member of the Westat Board of Directors and Senior Vice President and Sector Lead, Health. She has more than 30 years of experience managing public health programs at the federal, state, and local levels. Shifflett oversees public health research and evaluation projects with special insight into strategic planning and the implementation of programs affecting health outcomes.
Shifflett has held senior management positions with specialties in multisite clinical research coordination; the development of clinical and community guidelines; survey design, development, and implementation; and data analytics and evaluation.
Her work focuses on infectious and chronic disease prevention and control with an emphasis on special populations, including pregnant women, children, healthcare providers, and the elderly.
