Eric Isenberg is an Associate Vice President for Education Studies. He focuses on large-scale impact evaluations of educational programs and policies. Isenberg has studied student tutoring, literacy programs, and teacher induction and training programs using randomized controlled trials. Isenberg has examined the degree to which all students have access to effective teachers and how federal funds are used to improve educator effectiveness. Earlier in his career, he advised school districts on how to create state-of-the-art teacher evaluation systems. He has also served on the board of directors of the Association for Education Finance and Policy.
